Phoenix Rising forward Didier Drogba took time out to celebrate Delhi Dynamos’ Florent Malouda who turned 37 on June 13 with the best of words.
Drogba recalled his first meeting with the former France international and when they both played for En Avant de Guingamp in the French Ligue 2 before hooking up at the Stamford Bridge again in 2007.
Drogba and Malouda both won three FA Cup titles, one Premier League title, one Community Shield title and one Uefa Champions League title before the former departed for China’s Shanghai Shenhua in 2012.
We played against each other way back in the second division in France in the early 2000, then partnered a year after in first division one with @eaquingamp and started making history until we move into different directions, but it was written that we will meet again and write the best lines of our playing career with @chelseafc. This picture shows how synchronized we could be scoring goals or having fun!!! Enjoy your day Mr Don Dada @fmalouda, who God bless, let no man curse. One love guyana, Legend, Dondada, Malouda, champion of europe, blues.
